Abstract
Perkembangan media digital dan meningkatnya kebutuhan wisatawan akan pengalaman yang bermakna telah mendorong tumbuhnya tren wisata berbasis mindfulness. Wisata ini menekankan kesadaran pada saat ini, koneksi emosional, dan refleksi pribadi selama perjalanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana empat pengalaman wisata escape, education, esthetic, dan entertainment mempengaruhi tingkat mindfulness wisatawan, serta bagaimana mindfulness tersebut mendorong wisatawan menciptakan konten video pendek. Studi ini difokuskan pada kawasan wisata pedesaan di Indonesia, khususnya Desa Wisata Nglanggeran, dengan melibatkan 236 responden yang datanya dianalisis menggunakan metode PLS-SEM. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa keempat elemen memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan mindfulness, dengan pengalaman estetik menjadi faktor paling dominan. Selanjutnya, mindfulness terbukti mendorong wisatawan untuk membuat dan membagikan video pendek sebagai bentuk ekspresi personal sekaligus sarana promosi destinasi. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi baru dalam literatur pariwisata dengan memosisikan kreasi konten video pendek sebagai perilaku yang didorong oleh mindfulness, serta menyoroti pentingnya keterlibatan emosional dan sensorik dalam pemasaran pariwisata berkelanjutan di kawasan pedesaan. / The rise of digital media and the growing demand for meaningful travel experiences have driven the emergence of mindfulness-based tourism. This form of tourism emphasizes present-moment awareness, emotional connection, and personal reflection during the travel experience. This study aims to explore how the four experiential escape, education, esthetic, and entertainment affect tourists mindfulness levels, and how this heightened mindfulness, in turn, encourages the creation of short video content. The research focuses on a rural tourism area in Indonesia, specifically Nglanggeran Tourism Village, involving 236 respondents whose data were analyzed using the PLS-SEM method. The findings reveal that all four elemenons significantly influence mindfulness, with esthetic experience emerging as the most dominant factor. Furthermore, mindfulness was found to positively drive tourists to produce and share short video content as a form of personal expression and a tool for destination promotion. These findings contribute new insights to tourism literature by positioning short video content creation as a mindfulness-driven behavior, while also highlighting the importance of emotional and sensory engagement in sustainable rural tourism marketing.
