Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of Earning Power, as moderated by Profit Growth, in influencing Company Value among consumer non-cyclical sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023. This study is motivated by inconsistencies with Signalling Theory, as several companies have experienced declines in value despite reporting strong positive performance. The dependent variable in this study is Company Value, the independent variables being Earning Power, proxied by Earning Before Interest and Tax over Total Asset, along with 4 control variables and the moderating variable Profit Growth. The data sourcing method is secondary with S&P Capital Pro used as the data source. The data is processed using SPSS version 25. After purposive sampling, 62 companies are taken as sample. This study used 2 types of regression, namely Multiple Linear Regression and Moderated Regression Analysis. The analytical results are Earning Power having positive significant effect towards Company Value and the moderating variable Profit Growth strengthening the effect. / Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Kekuatan Penghasilan yang dimoderasi oleh Pertumbuhan Laba dalam mempengaruhi Nilai Perusahaan pada perusahaan sektor konsumen non-siklikal yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2019 sampai dengan 2023. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketidakkonsistenan dengan Teori Signalling karena beberapa perusahaan mengalami penurunan nilai meskipun melaporkan kinerja positif yang kuat. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah Nilai Perusahaan, variabel independennya adalah Kekuatan Penghasilan, diproksikan dengan Laba Sebelum Bunga dan Pajak atas Total Aset, beserta 4 variabel kontrol, dan variabel moderasi Pertumbuhan Laba. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah sekunder dengan menggunakan S&P Capital Pro sebagai sumber data. Data diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Setelah dilakukan purposive sampling, diperoleh 62 perusahaan sebagai sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 jenis regresi yaitu Multiple Linear Regression dan Moderated Regression Analysis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan Kekuatan Penghasilan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan dan variabel moderasi Pertumbuhan Laba memperkuat pengaruh tersebut.
