Abstract
Digitalisasi sistem operasional menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi bisnis di era modern, termasuk pada sektor jasa kecantikan yang memiliki alur kerja cepat dan berulang. Namun, Akane Beauty Studio dan Salon masih menghadapi permasalahan dalam pencatatan penjualan, pembelian, dan manajemen stok yang dilakukan secara manual serta tidak terintegrasi. Hal ini menyebabkan proses operasional menjadi kurang efisien dan rentan terhadap kesalahan pencatatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan sistem Point of Sales (POS) yang mampu mengintegrasikan laporan penjualan, pembelian,
dan stok. Metode yang digunakan adalah User Centered Design (UCD), dengan fokus pada kebutuhan dan kenyamanan pengguna, serta pendekatan Rapid
Application Development (RAD) untuk mendukung proses pengembangan sistem
yang cepat dan iteratif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan uji coba prototipe. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem POS yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mempercepat transaksi
dari sebelumnya lebih dari satu menit menjadi di bawah satu menit, serta menghasilkan laporan yang terintegrasi secara otomatis. / Digitalized operational system has become an essential for modern businesses, including those in the beauty service sector where workflows are fast-paced and repetitive. However, Akane Beauty Studio and Salon still face challenges in
recording sales, purchases, and inventory manually and without integration. This
results in inefficient operations and a high risk of recording errors. This study aims
to develop and implement a Point of Sales (POS) system that integrates sales,
purchase, and inventory reports. The method used is User Centered Design (UCD),
focusing on the needs and convenience of users, along with the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach to support a fast and iterative system development
process. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and prototype testing. The results show that the developed POS system improves operational efficiency
by reducing transaction times from over one minute to under one minute, while also generating integrated reports automatically to support faster and more accurate business decision-making.
