Abstract

Seni merupakan salah satu faktor yang turut berperan penting dalam perkembangan budaya di peradaban manusia. Namun sayangnya kesadaran masyarakat Indonesia terhadapsuatunilai senipadasaat inimasihsangatkecil sekali. Seniman sering kali dianggap sebagai sebuah hobi yang sekedar menghabiskanwaktusajadanhampirjaranguntukdiakuisebagaisuatupekerjaan. Disinipenulissebagai salahsatusenimansekaligusprogrammerberusahauntuk mengubahparadigmayangadapadamasyarakatsaatiniagardapatmenerimaseni sebagai suatu bentuk pekerjaan yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat. VisualNovel, sebuahgameyangberasaldarinegerisakurainisangatlah sesuaidengankebutuhandaridilemayangsedangdihadapisaatini.VisualNovel menggabungkankemampuansenidari senimansekaliguskeahlianprogramming dari programmer untukmenciptakan suatu game yang sangatmenarikuntuk dimainkan. Bedasarkan sisi inilahkemudianVisualNovel dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana pendorong kemajuan seni di Indonesia. Untuksaat iniVisualNovel sudahterbuktidapatmenarikminatbanyak pemaingamedi Indonesia, termasukyangsebelumnya tidakmengertinilai seni sama sekali sehinggapenggunaangameberjenisVisualNovel inidapat secara efektif mewujudkan tujuan yang ada saat ini / Art isoneof themainfactorsthatheavilyinfluencetheadvancementflow ofhumancivilization.However, thecurrent Indonesiansociety’sawarenessupon thegreat influenceofart isverylow.Artistsareoftenconsideredasameretime consuminghobbywithnoparticularvalueofdoingitandalmostneverconsidered asaproperjob.HerethewriterasbothanArtistandaProgrammertriestochange thiswrongmindsetof thepeoplesotheycangivemorevaluetoartsandaccept the fact that art is one of the life’s necessity. VisualNovel, thegenre thatwasborninJapandecadesagoisfit for the goalwecurrentlyhave. It combinesbothskills that comes fromanArtistanda Programmer tocreateagame that’snot only interesting,but alsoimmerse the players into theworldof thegame.Becauseof thissellingpoint,VisualNovel then seen to have the potential to increase the people’s value of arts in Indonesia. Upuntil thisverymoment,VisualNovelhavebeenproventosuccessfully attractalotofgamer’sinterestonplayinggamesthat’snotonlygoodingameplay but alsohave intenseandawesomearts, includingthoseplayerswhohavenever got anyinterest insuchkindofartsbefore.ThismakesVisualNovelasgenreto have a lot of potentials to realize the goal we have right now.
