Abstract
Saat ini, tuntutan dunia kerja kepada lulusan perguruan tinggi semakin berat. Dunia kerja yakin bahwa mahasiswa yang dapat sukses di dunia pekerjaan tidak cukup memiliki hardskill saja karena belum menunjukkan kualitas softskill yang sebenarnya sangat dibutuhkan dalam dunia kerja. Menurut Nafiri Discipleship Church (2018), beberapa softskill yang dibutuhkan untuk menghadapi persaingan ketat di dunia kerja adalah komunikasi, leadership, motivasi diri, teamwork, problem solving, time management dan negosiasi. Universitas Pelita Harapan khususnya departemen Student Life menyediakan pelatihan kepemimpinan lead others yang diberi nama Cornerstone Initiative. Pokok permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pelatihan Cornerstone Initiative 4 yang akan menjadi masukan untuk mengevaluasi pelatihan yang ada di Universitas Pelita Harapan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pelatihan kepemimpinan Cornerstone Initiative 4 menggunakan metode Kirkpatrick hanya pada level reaksi, pembelajaran dan perilaku yang nantinya dapat dijadikan pedoman untuk mengevaluasi pelatihan lainnya. Berdasarkan ketiga pengukuran tersebut, didapatkan hasil bahwa pelatihan Cornerstone Initiative 4 sudah sangat baik, karena peserta merasakan pelatihan ini sangat efektif, serta terjadi peningkatan level pembelajaran dan level perilaku. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pelatihan ini perlu terus dilanjutkan agar dapat menjangkau mahasiswa yang lebih banyak lagi./ Nowadays, the request for the world of work for college graduates is getting heavier. The world of work believes that students who can succeed in the world of work do not have enough hard skills because they have not demonstrated the quality of soft skills that are needed in the world of work. According to the Nafiri Discipleship Church website (2018), some soft skills needed to face intense competition in the world of work are communication, leadership, self-motivation, teamwork, problem-solving, time management and negotiation. Pelita Harapan University, in particular, the Student Life department provides leadership training for others called the Cornerstone Initiative. The main problem in this research is reviewing the Cornerstone Initiative 4 training which will be used as input for evaluating the training available at Pelita Harapan University. Therefore, this study aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Cornerstone Initiative 4 leadership training using the Kirkpatrick method only at the level of reaction, learning and behavior. Based on the three measurements, the Cornerstone Initiative 4 training was very good, because participants felt the training was very effective, and there was an increase in the level of learning and the level of behavior of participants. Therefore, this training activity needs to be continued to reach more students.
