Abstract

Dalam industri manufaktur, kenyamanan kerja memiliki peran krusial terhadap produktivitas tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang fasilitas kerja ergonomis dalam aktivitas material handling di PT IPC berdasarkan analisis postur kerja dan keluhan musculoskeletal pada operator. Metode yang digunakan adalah CMDQ (Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaires) dan REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) untuk menilai tingkat ketidaknyamanan dan risiko postur kerja. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran sebelum perbaikan, skor CMDQ rata-rata mencapai 36,17, dan skor REBA untuk aktivitas mengangkat dan menuang material masing-masing sebesar 11 yang tergolong risiko sangat tinggi. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan melalui penambahan fasilitas kerja berupa tangki material yang dilengkapi meja penuangan dan conveyor, skor CMDQ menurun signifikan menjadi 13,5, sedangkan skor REBA untuk aktivitas mengangkat turun menjadi 7 (risiko sedang), dan aktivitas menuang turun menjadi 3 (risiko rendah). Meskipun waktu proses charging meningkat dari 13,98 menit menjadi 28 menit per satu batch, peningkatan tersebut tidak memengaruhi kapasitas produksi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa perbaikan fasilitas kerja memberikan dampak positif terhadap kenyamanan kerja operator./In the manufacturing industry, comfort workplace play a crutial role in determining worker productivity. This study aims to design ergonomic work facilities for material handling activities at PT IPC based on work posture and musculoskeletal complaints analysis. The methods used include the Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaires (CMDQ) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) to assess the level of discomfort and ergonomic risks. Before the improvement, the average CMDQ score reached 36.17, while the REBA scores for lifting and pouring activities were 11, classified as very high risk. After the implementation of ergonomic improvements through the addition of a material tank and conveyor, the CMDQ score significantly decreased to 13.5. The REBA score for lifting dropped to 7 (medium risk), and the score for pouring decreased to 3 (low risk). Although the charging process time increased from 13.98 minutes to 28 minutes per batch, this did not affect production capacity. These results indicate that the ergonomic redesign successfully improved operator comfort.
