Abstract
Industri percetakan saat ini masih sangat bergantung pada pengecekan warna secara
manual yang rentan terhadap kesalahan manusia dan memakan waktu. Oleh karena
itu, diperlukan suatu sistem yang mampu melakukan pengecekan warna secara
cepat, akurat, dan objektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan
mengimplementasikan sistem pengecekan warna berbasis sensor TCS3200 pada
mesin cetak flexo. Metode yang digunakan meliputi kalibrasi sensor, pengumpulan
data warna standar, pengembangan algoritma pengolahan citra untuk ekstraksi fitur
warna, dan perbandingan antara nilai warna hasil pengukuran sensor dengan nilai
warna standar. Teori utama yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah prinsip kerja
sensor warna, pengolahan citra digital, dan sistem kontrol. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa sensor TCS3200 mampu mendeteksi warna dengan tingkat
akurasi tinggi (deviasi rata-rata Euclidean distance < 6) pada jarak optimal 2 cm
dari objek. Sistem ini mengurangi ketergantungan pada pengecekan manual dengan
konsistensi mencapai 86% untuk warna biru dan 82% untuk warna putih
berdasarkan evaluasi operator. Konklusi dari penelitian ini adalah sistem
pengecekan warna otomatis berbasis sensor TCS3200 dapat menjadi solusi yang
efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi proses produksi pada industri
percetakan flexo. Sistem ini dapat diaplikasikan pada berbagai jenis mesin cetak
flexo dan dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan integrasi ke dalam sistem
kontrol mesin yang lebih kompleks.

The printing industry still heavily relies on manual color checking, which is prone to
human error and time-consuming. Therefore, an automated system capable of
performing fast, accurate, and objective color verification is essential. This study
aims to design and implement a TCS3200 color sensor-based system for flexographic
printing machines. The methodology includes sensor calibration, standard color data
collection, development of image processing algorithms for color feature extraction,
and comparison between sensor-measured color values and standard references. The
research is grounded in color sensor principles, digital image processing, and control
systems. Results demonstrate that the TCS3200 sensor achieves high color detection
accuracy (average Euclidean deviation < 6) at an optimal distance of 2 cm. The
system reduces reliance on manual checks, showing 86% consistency for blue and
82% for white in operator evaluations. In conclusion, this automated color-checking
system proves to be an effective solution for enhancing quality and production
efficiency in flexo printing. It is adaptable to various flexo machines and can be
further developed through integration with advanced control systems.
