Abstract
Stunting remains a critical issue in the development of human capital in Indonesia. As the national coordinator for accelerating stunting reduction, the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) utilizes social media, particularly Instagram, to disseminate campaign messages to a broad audience. This study aims to examine BKKBN’s communication strategy in promoting stunting prevention through Instagram, using a qualitative approach and case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and content analysis of BKKBN’s official Instagram posts. The findings reveal that the communication strategy is implemented in a structured yet adaptive manner, with visual content tailored to the characteristics of younger audiences, and supported by collaborations with various stakeholders to extend message reach. Instagram serves as a one-way communication channel that facilitates symbolic resonance and indirect audience engagement. While this strategy demonstrates potential in raising public awareness of stunting, further efforts are needed to enhance message consistency and ensure the continuity of audience interaction within the campaign. / Masalah stunting masih menjadi tantangan besar dalam pembangunan sumber daya manusia di Indonesia. Sebagai koordinator nasional percepatan penurunan stunting, BKKBN memanfaatkan media sosial, khususnya Instagram, untuk menyampaikan pesan kampanye secara luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi BKKBN dalam kampanye pencegahan stunting melalui Instagram dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan analisis konten media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi dijalankan secara terstruktur dan adaptif, dengan penggunaan konten visual yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik generasi muda serta kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak untuk memperluas jangkauan pesan. Instagram diposisikan sebagai ruang komunikasi satu arah yang tetap memungkinkan resonansi simbolik dan keterlibatan audiens secara tidak langsung. Strategi ini berpotensi mendorong kesadaran publik terhadap isu stunting, meskipun masih diperlukan penguatan dalam konsistensi pesan dan kesinambungan interaksi kampanye.
