Abstract

This research is about Phenomenological Study of the Use of Learning Management System (LMS) in Sekolah Menengah Agama Katolik (SMAK) Negeri Ende. The objectives of this study are 1) to analyze the perceptions of principals, vice principals, teachers, and students about the use of LMS in learning at SMAK Negeri Ende; 2) to identify factors that become challenges to the use of LMS in learning at SMAK Negeri Ende; and 3) to identify how SMAK Negeri Ende overcomes the challenges of using LMS in learning. To achieve these objectives, this study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. In analyzing the data, the researcher used Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). This research involved the principal, vice principal, teachers, and students of SMAK Negeri Ende in the academic year 2024/2025 who are still active. The results of this study show that 1) principals, vice principals, teachers, and students have a positive perception of the use of LMS in learning at SMAK Negeri Ende; 2) there are 11 factors that become challenges to the use of LMS in learning at SMAK Negeri Ende; and 3) there are five ways SMAK Negeri Ende to overcome the challenges of using LMS. / Penelitian ini tentang Studi Fenomenologi Penggunaan Learning Management System (LMS) dalam Pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Agama Katolik (SMAK) Negeri Ende. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) menganalisis persepsi kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik tentang penggunaan LMS dalam pembelajaran di SMAK Negeri Ende; 2) mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menjadi tantangan penggunaan LMS dalam pembelajaran di SMAK Negeri Ende; dan 3) mengidentifikasi cara SMAK Negeri Ende mengatasi tantangan penggunaan LMS dalam pembelajaran. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Penelitian ini melibatkan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik SMAK Negeri Ende Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 yang masih aktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik memiliki persepsi positif tentang penggunaan LMS dalam pembelajaran di SMAK Negeri Ende; 2) terdapat 11 faktor yang menjadi tantangan penggunaan LMS dalam pembelajaran di SMAK Negeri Ende; dan 3) terdapat lima cara SMAK Negeri Ende untuk mengatasi tantangan penggunaan LMS.
