Abstract
Triloksan merupakan komposisi zat dalam sabun yang efektif mencegah pertumbuhan Cutibacterium acnes, tetapi penggunaannya yang berlebihan dapat membunuh flora normal kulit. Penggunaan bahan antibakteri lain yang berasal dari bahan alam seperti (Gynura procumbens [Lour.] Merr) dengan pelarut etanol 70% yang bersifat polar mampu menarik senyawa metabolit yang berpotensi sebagai antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan formulasi sabun cair ekstrak daun sambung nyawa yang memenuhi uji mutu fisik dan memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Cutibacterium acnes. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan variasi basis minyak kelapa dan KOH. Evaluasi mencangkup uji organoleptik, homogenitas, pH, tinggi busa, alkali bebas, viskositas, stabilitas (cycling test) dan uji aktivitas antibakteri. Hasil skrining ekstrak mengandung senyawa alkaloid, flavanoid,, tanin, fenol, steroid. Ketiga basis memenuhi parameter mutu fisik, dengan zona hambat B1 (14,47 mm), B2 (17,58 mm), dan B3 (20,68 mm). Sedangkan, ketiga formulasi ekstrak hanya F1(5%) dan F2 (10%) yang memenuhi semua uji mutu fisik, dengan zona hambat F1 (28 mm), F2 (18,3 mm) dan F3 sebesar (20,55 mm) dalam kategori kuat. F1 ditetapkan sebagai formulasi terbaik meskipun bau dan warna kurang menarik./Trilochan is a soap substance composition that effectively prevents the growth of Cutibacterium acnes, but its excessive use can kill the normal flora of the skin. The use of other antibacterial substances derived from natural materials such as (Gynura procumbens [Lour.] Merr) with a 70% polar ethanol solvent is able to attract metabolite compounds that have the potential to be antibacterial. This study aims to develop a formulation of liquid soap from life joint leaf extract that meets physical quality tests and has antibacterial activity against Cutibacterium acnes. The method used is an experimental method with variations of coconut oil and KOH bases. The evaluation includes organoleptic tests, homogeneity, pH, foam height, free alkalis, viscosity, stability (cycling test) and antibacterial activity tests. The extract containsalkaloids, flavanoids, tannins, phenols, steroids. The threebases meet the physical quality parameters, with the barrier zones B1 (14.47 mm), B2 (17.58 mm), and B3 (20.68 mm). Meanwhile, only F1 (5%) and F2 (10%) extract formulations met all physical quality tests, with F1 (28 mm), F2 (18.3 mm) and F3 (20.55 mm) inhibition zones in the strong category. F1 is set as the best formulation despite its less attractive smell and color.
