Abstract

Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung pengembangan potensi peserta didik sebagaimana diatur dalam Pasal 2 Permendikbud Nomor 62 Tahun 2014. Salah satu program ekstrakurikuler yang ditawarkan adalah renang. program ekstrakurikuler renang memberikan dampak yang optimal bagi perkembangan anak antara lain meningkatkan kemandirian dan keterampilan motorik kasar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler renang dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar dan kemandirian siswa TK B di Sekolah XYZ Bekasi. Studi evaluasi ini menggunakan metode CIPP yaitu Context, Input, Process dan Product. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, angket, dan observasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi dan analisis data menggunakan aplikasi NVIVO. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan a) Context, memiliki kebutuhan, sumber daya dan latarbelakang atau tujuan program yang sesuai dengan visi misi sekolah, dan relevan dengan konteks Sekolah XYZ di Bekasi; b) Input, adanya stakeholder dan rancangan yang strategis sehingga mendukung kegiatan ekstrakurikuler; c) Process, adanya pengembangan, implementasi, monitoring, dan action dengan koordinasi yang baik antara guru renang, guru kelas dan orang tua; dan d) product, dampak, efektivitas dan keberlanjutan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler renang. / Extracurricular activities have an important role in supporting the development of the potential of students as stipulated in Article 2 of Permendikbud number 62 of 2014. One of the extracurricular programs offered is swimming. The swimming extracurricular program provides an optimal impact on child development, including increasing independence and gross motor skills of students. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the implementation of swimming extracurricular activities in improving the gross motor skills and independence of kindergarten B students in school XYZ Bekasi. This evaluation study used CIPP method that is Context, Input, Process and Product. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and observation. The validity of the data using triangulation and data analysis using NVIVO application. The results of this study indicate a) Context, has the needs, resources and backgrounds or objectives of the program in accordance with the vision and mission of the school, and relevant to the context of the XYZ school in Bekasi; b) Input, the presence of stakeholders and strategic design so as to support extracurricular activities; c) Process, the development, implementation, monitoring, and action with good coordination between swimming teachers, class teachers and parents; and d) product, impact, effectiveness and sustainability of swimming extracurricular activities.
