Abstract

Kinerja sistem kontrol pompa otomatis untuk manajemen tangki di area produksi mesin dinding samping menurun karena kerusakan pada beberapa komponen. Sistem ini mengandalkan mekanisme berbasis pengatur waktu, yang mengurangi efisiensi operasional saat pasokan air tidak konsisten yang menyebabkan tangki meluap dan gangguan produksi. Penelitian ini merancang dan menerapkan panel kontrol berbasis PLC yang terintegrasi dengan sensor konduktif untuk mendeteksi level air secara real-time. Sistem ini memiliki konfigurasi pompa ganda untuk redundansi, pelabelan komponen yang jelas, dan kabel yang lebih rapi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pemecahan masalah. Hasil pasca implementasi menunjukkan pengurangan yang signifikan dalam insiden luapan tangki dan peningkatan efisiensi operasional, dengan waktu aktif pompa rata-rata 2,52 menit dan waktu henti 8,43 menit. Sejak implementasi, tidak ada insiden luapan yang terjadi. Sistem baru ini menunjukkan solusi yang andal dan terukur untuk tantangan manajemen air industri. / The performance of the automatic pump control system for tank management in the sidewall machine production area had declined due to damage to several components. The system relied on a timer-based mechanism, which reduced operational efficiency when the water supply was inconsistent leading to tank overflows and production disruptions. This study designed and implemented a PLC-based control panel integrated with a conductive sensor to detect water levels in real time. The system features a dual-pump configuration for redundancy, clear component labeling, and neater wiring to enhance troubleshooting efficiency. Post-implementation results showed a significant reduction in tank overflow incidents and improved operational efficiency, with an average pump active time of 2.52 minutes and a downtime of 8.43 minutes. Since implementation, no overflow incidents have occurred. This new system demonstrates a reliable and scalable solution to the challenges of industrial water management.
