Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) memberikan solusi modern dalam pengelolaan air, khususnya untuk sistem pengisian toren secara otomatis. Penelitian ini merancang sistem berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32, sensor ultrasonik AJ-SR04M, dan katup motorized ball valve yang terintegrasi dengan aplikasi Kodular menggunakan protokol MQTT. Sistem ini memungkinkan pemantauan ketinggian air dan kontrol katup secara real-time dari perangkat mobile, serta dilengkapi sensor flow switch untuk deteksi aliran air. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sensor mampu membaca ketinggian air secara stabil dengan deviasi ±0,3 cm. Waktu buka dan tutup katup rata-rata 15 detik, dan sistem berjalan otomatis dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100% pada delapan siklus pengisian. Aplikasi Kodular berhasil menampilkan status sistem secara akurat, dan data tercatat otomatis ke Google Spreadsheet setiap 1 jam. Sistem ini terbukti efisien, andal, dan memberikan keunggulan dibandingkan metode pelampung konvensional dari segi akurasi dan kemudahan pemantauan jarak jauh. / The Internet of Things (IoT) offers a modern solution for efficient water management, particularly in automated water tank (toren) filling systems. This study designs a system based on the ESP32 microcontroller, AJ-SR04M ultrasonic sensor, and a motorized ball valve, integrated with a Kodular-based mobile application using the MQTT protocol. The system enables real-time monitoring and control of water levels via mobile devices and includes a flow switch for water flow detection. Test results show the sensor can measure water levels with stable readings and a deviation of ±0.3 cm. The valve operates with an average opening and closing time of 15 seconds, and the system runs automatically with a 100% success rate across eight filling cycles. The Kodular application displays system status accurately, and data is logged to Google Spreadsheet every hour. This system has proven to be efficient, reliable, and superior to conventional float-based systems in terms of accuracy and remote accessibility.
