Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang sangat cepat saat ini turut mendisrupsi keterlibatan adopsi teknologi tersebut di kalangan milenial. Adopsi teknologi ini terjadi di berbagai sector kehidupan termasuk dalam bidang desain interior. Fenomena ini menunjukkan adanya pergeseran ke arah personalisasi berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adopsi alat desain interior berbasis AI oleh generasi milenial di wilayah Jabodetabek. Dengan menggunakan kerangka Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana akurasi rekomendasi, kebaruan, kecukupan antarmuka, dan kecukupan interaksi dari AI memengaruhi persepsi kegunaan (perceived usefulness) dan kemudahan penggunaan (perceived ease of use). Data dikumpulkan dari 198 responden dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa persepsi terhadap kegunaan rekomendasi AI, estetika visual, dan antarmuka yang intuitif secara signifikan membentuk sikap positif terhadap alat AI, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan niat untuk menggunakannya. Secara khusus, pengalaman sebelumnya dalam menggunakan AI memoderasi hubungan ini, di mana pengguna yang lebih berpengalaman lebih memprioritaskan aspek fungsionalitas dibandingkan sikap semata. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya desain yang berpusat pada pengguna dan kualitas estetika dalam mendorong adopsi AI di kalangan milenial yang melek teknologi. / The rapid growth of millennial engagement with AI across various contexts, including interior design, indicates a shift towards technology-driven personalisation. This study investigates the adoption of AI-aided design tools for interior design among millennials in Greater Jakarta. Utilising the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), this study examines how AI recommendation accuracy, novelty, interface adequacy, and interaction adequacy influence perceived usefulness (PU) and ease of use (PEOU). Data were collected from 198 respondents and analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results indicate that perceived usefulness of AI recommendations, visual aesthetics, and intuitive interfaces significantly shape positive attitudes toward AI tools, ultimately increasing the intention to use the AI tools. Notably, prior AI experience moderates this relationship, as experienced users prioritise functionality over attitude. Findings emphasise the importance of user-centred design and aesthetic quality in promoting AI adoption among tech-savvy millennials.
