Abstract
Tahap emerging adulthood atau dewasa muda merupakan tahap yang penting dalam kehidupan manusia karena merupakan masa transisi seseorang dari masa remaja menuju masa dewasa. Pada tahap ini individu akan mengalami proses meaning-making, yaitu bagaimana individu dapat memahami peristiwa yang terjadi dalam hidupnya dan menemukan makna dibaliknya. Makna hidup adalah bagaimana individu dapat mengerti serta memahami hidupnya dan tujuan hidupnya. Makna hidup sendiri dapat terbentuk dari beberapa hal, salah satunya adalah religiositas. Religiositas adalah keterlibatan individu dalam mencari sosok yang transenden. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh religiositas terhadap makna hidup seseorang. Peneliti menggunakan alat ukur The Four Basic Dimension of Religiousness Scale dari Saroglou dan Personal Meaning Profile-Brief dari Wong, dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 212 orang yang berasal dari agama Kristen dan Islam serta berkuliah di daerah Jabodetabek. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari religiositas terhadap makna hidup (R2 = .34, β = .58, p<.05). Penemuan hasil penelitian lainnya juga didiskusikan.
