Abstract

The development of the globalization era is changing the pattern of communication which was originally not as easy as in today's digital era to be very fast and effective without any limitations on space and time because of the internet network. With the technology in the era of globalization, the internet has made the community able to carry out various activities anywhere and anytime. Therefore, social media is currently one of the most widely used means of communication by the public. PUPR Ministry is one of the government agencies that follow the pattern of developments in the globalization era. Instagam and Twitter social media is one of the media used by the Public Works Ministry of Public Works and Public Relations as a tool to communicate with the public. Instagram and Twitter of the Ministry of PUPR is one of the social media that receives the most attention from the public. Perkembangan era globalisasi merubah pola komunikasi yang pada awalnya tidak semudah di era digital masa kini menjadi sangat cepat dan efektif tanpa ada batasan ruang dan watu karena adanya jaringan internet. Dengan adanya teknologi pada era globalisasi internet membuat masyarakt mampu melakukan berbagai kegiatan dimana saja dan kapan saja. Maka dari itu saat ini media sosial menjadi salah satu sarana komunikasi yang paling banyak digunakan oleh khalayak. Kementerian PUPR merupakan salah satu instansi pemerintahan yang mengikuti pola perkembangan era globalisasi. Media sosial Instagam dan Twitter merupakan salah satu media yang digunakan Humas Kementerian PUPR sebagai alat untuk berkomunikasi dengan masyarakat. Instagram dan Twitter Kementerian PUPR merupakan salah satu media sosial yang paling banyak mendapatkan perhatian masyarakat.
