Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan aspek yang penting dalam kehidupan, sehingga keterbatasan yang dimiliki seseorang yang mengakibatkan terhambatnya suatu proses komunikasi akan menjadi sebuah permasalahan sendiri yang harus dapat dipecahkan. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah komunikasi yang dijalankan oleh penyandang disabilitas tuli di Pusbisindo dalam berkomunikasi, terutama pada era digital dimana teknologi dapat membantu tercapainya sebuah tujuan komunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kegunaan dan kemudahan dari aplikasi video call terhadap tujuan komunikasi komunitas tuli Pusbisindo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig = 0.022 dengan nilai koefisien = 0.551 yang berarti faktor kegunaan video call sebagai media pemberian dan penerimaan informasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tujuan komunikasi komunitas tuli Pusbisindo dan merupakan elemen penting dalam sebuah teknologi. Hasil penelitian juga membuktikan bahwa nilai sig = 0.023 dengan nilai koefisien = 0.279 yang berarti faktor kemudahan video call sebagai sebuah aplikasi yang mudah untuk dipelajari berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dan berperan penting dalam membentuk terciptanya tujuan komunikasi komunitas tuli Pusbisindo dan merupakan elemen yang juga penting dalam sebuah teknologi. / Communication is an important aspect of life, so that disabilities which is something that inhibit communication will be a problem that must be solved. In this research, the focus is on communication run by deaf people in Pusbisindo, especially in digital era where technology is able to help reach a communication objectives. This research aims to examine the effect of usefulness and ease of use of the video call application on communication objectives in Pusbisindo as a deaf community. The method that is used for this research is multiple regression. The result of this research shows that the value of sig = 0.022 with a coefficient value of 0.551, which means the usefulness factor as a media to give and receive information affect positively and significantly to communication objectives in Pusbisindo and is an important element in technology. The result of this research also proves that the value of sig = 0.023 with a coefficient value of 0.279, which means the ease of use factor as an application that is easy to be learned, affect positively and significantly to communication objectives in Pusbisindo and is also an important element in technology.
