Abstract
Penggunaan lampu sebagai penerangan saat pagi, siang atau malam hari dalam kehidupan sehari-hari tidak hanya lazim, namun bagi kebanyakan pihak merupakan suatu kebutuhan. Hanya saja muncul isu penting berkaitan dengan penggunaan lampu ini, yaitu kurangnya efisiensi penggunaan. World Wildlife Fund (WWF) sebagai salah satu organisasi pemerhati lingkungan hingga menginisiasi gerakan kesadaran masyarakat untuk mematikan lampu selama satu jam setiap tahunnya (Earth Hour). Sejalan dengan upaya meningkatkan efisiensi tersebut, sistem penerangan yang berkelakuan pintar di rumah atau gedung dapat dieksplorasi lebih jauh.
Pada Tugas Akhir ini dirancang sebuah prototipe (purwarupa) sistem penerangan menggunakan satu buah sensor cahaya untuk mendeteksi terang dan gelapnya keadaan di luar ruangan, satu buah sensor suara untuk mendeteksi masukan berupa satu atau dua tepukan tangan, satu buah sensor gerak untuk mendeteksi gerakan di dalam ruangan, satu buah servomotor untuk membuka atau menutup tirai jendela dan satu buah LED sebagai representasi lampu rumah. Semua komponen tersebut dikendalikan oleh mikrokontroler Arduino Uno.
Dari hasil perancangan dan pengujian sistem penerangan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa prototipe sistem penerangan ruangan menggunakan sensor cahaya, sensor suara dan sensor gerak dapat berjalan dan berfungsi dengan baik. Tingkat keberhasilan dari uji fungsionalitas prototipe ini adalah 100%. / The use of lights as lighting during the morning, afternoon or night in daily life is not only common, but for most parties is a necessity. It's just that an important issue arises related to the use of these lamps, namely the lack of efficient use. World Wildlife Fund (WWF) as one of the organizations concerned with the environment to initiate a community awareness movement to turn off the lights for one hour each year (Earth Hour). In line with efforts to improve efficiency, lighting systems that behave smartly at home or in a building can be explored further.
In this Final Project a prototype (prototype) of the lighting system is designed using one light sensor to detect the light and darkness of the situation outside the room, one sound sensor to detect input in the form of one or two hands, one motion sensor to detect movement inside a room, one servomotor to open or close a window curtain and one LED as a representation of the home light. All components are controlled by Arduino Uno microcontroller.
From the results of the design and testing of this lighting system it can be concluded that the prototype of the room lighting system using light sensors, sound sensors and motion sensors can run and function properly. The success rate of the prototype functionality test is 100%.
