Abstract
This research is a paper that was continued from daryl Yahya’s research about the testing of the solar cooker. This stuff is the one of alternative to cook with sunlight radiation or insolation, this solar cooker is usually used in the area where are difficult to obtain gas or electricity facilities. In this study the testing of solar cooker is including the variation of weather such as insolation, wind speed , humidity, temperature ambient and etc. From the result of testing the solar cooker is good because it can reflect and concentrate sunlight on constant in the varies weather with the regression above 0,75, and this cooker also can retain the heat from the sun well with the Unattended cooking time about 52 minutes on insolation 850W/m2. But the test result based on time to cook is not too good with the heating test time around 13 minutes (longer than 10 minutes), and Standard sensible heating around 7 minute (longer than 5 minutes) on insolation 850W/m2. And the weather factor like solar insolation, wind speed and humidity is affect the performance of the solar cooker itself, so with the high insolation of the sun, low wind speed and low humidity, it could ge the best performance of the solar
