Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketaatan, isu etis, dan
sikap terhadap ketaatan hukum terhadap perilaku terkait pembelian produk imitasi
dan dampaknya terhadap minat beli konsumen produk imitasi sepatu Adidas di
Jakarta. Penelitian ini menempatkan ketaatan, isu etis, dan sikap terhadap
ketaatan hukum sebagai variabel independen; perilaku sebagai variabel tengah;
dan minat beli sebagai variabel dependen. Terdapat empat hipotesis konseptual
yang dikembangkan untuk penelitian ini, yaitu ketaatan, isu etis, dan sikap
terhadap ketaatan hukum memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap perilaku terkait
dengan produk imitasi; serta perilaku memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap minat
beli produk imitasi.
Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari 260 responden, namun hanya
menggunakan 208 data yang bisa digunakan. Responden yang dipilih adalah
konsumen yang mengetahui produk sepatu tiruan merek Adidas dijual di pasaran
dan belum pernah membeli produk tersebut. Indikator yang digunakan pada
kuesioner penelitian ini sepenuhnya diadaptasi dan dimodifikasi dari penelitian
Quoquab, Pahlevan, Mohammad, & Thurasamy (2016). Metode penarikan
sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Metode analisis yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis jalur. Instrumen penelitian
sebelumnya diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Demikian pula dengan metode
analisis yang juga terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji asumsi klasik untuk menilai
kelayakan model prediktor yang terbentuk.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketaatan, isu etis, dan sikap terhadap
ketaatan hukum tidak memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap perilaku, melainkan
memiliki pengaruh positif. Di samping itu juga ditemukan bahwa perilaku
memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap minat beli produk imitasi sepatu Adidas di
Jakarta. Tiga dari empat hipotesis konseptual yang dikembangkan tidak
didukung, sementara satu hipotesis konseptual lainnya dapat didukung dengan
menggunakan data yang ada. / This study aims to determine the effect of religiosity, ethical concern, and
attitude toward lawfulness on attitude toward behavior related to the purchase of
imitation products and their impact on consumer buying interest in imitation
Adidas shoes bag products in Jakarta. This study places religiosity, ethical
concern, and attitude toward lawfulness as independent variables; attitude toward
behavior as an intervening variable; and intention to purchase as the dependent
variable. There are four conceptual hypotheses developed for this research,
namely religiosity, ethical concern, and attitude toward lawfulness have a negative
influence on attitude toward behavior related to imitation products; and such
attitude toward behavior has a positive influence on buying interest in imitation
products.
This study collected data from 260 respondents, but only use 208 data with
good quality. The respondents chosen were consumers who knew that the Adidas
brand shoes were sold in the market and had never bought such products. The
indicators used in this research questionnaire were fully adapted and modified
from the research of Quoquab, Pahlevan, Mohammad, & Thurasamy (2016). The
sampling method used was purposive sampling. The analytical method used in
this study is path analysis. Previous research instruments were tested for validity
and reliability. Likewise, the analytical method also tested on the classical
assumption first to assess the feasibility of the formed predictor model.
The results showed that religiosity, ethical concern, and attitude toward
lawfulness did not have a negative influence on attitude toward behavior, but
rather had a positive effect. In addition, it was also found that the attitude toward
behavior had a positive influence on the buying interest of imitation Adidas shoes
in Jakarta. Three of the four conceptual hypotheses developed were not supported,
while one other conceptual hypothesis could be supported using existing data.
