Abstract
Terdapat faktor dari luar individu (nature) dan faktor dari dalam individu (nurture) yang berpengaruh pada tinggi rendahnya efikasi diri individu. Berkaitan dengan efikasi diri, terdapat fenomena mahasiswa kurang yakin akan kemampuan dirinya dapat menyelesaikan tugas akhir. Partisipan dari penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa aktif yang berasal dari Universitas X angkatan 2016 yang sedang menyusun tugas akhir di Tangerang dengan rentang usia emerging adulthood (18-25 tahun). Penyebaran data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner secara fisik, didapatkan sebanyak 180 partisipan dalam penelitian ini. Kuesioner yang dibagikan mencakup tiga alat ukur yang telah diadaptasi, yaitu Skala Dukungan Sosial Teman Sebaya, Skala Hardiness, dan Skala Efikasi Diri. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan uji regresi linear sebanyak dua kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap efikasi diri dan antara hardiness dengan efikasi diri. Didapatkan juga bahwa dukungan sosial teman sebaya memberikan sumbangan pengaruh sebesar R2 = 9,7% terhadap efikasi diri dengan tingkat korelasi sebesar p = 0,311, sedangkan hardiness memberikan sumbangan pengaruh sebesar R2 = 58,5% terhadap efikasi diri dengan tingkat korelasi sebesar p = 0,765. Dari hasil penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dukungan sosial teman sebaya dan hardiness terhadap efikasi diri pada mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun tugas akhir./There are external and internal factors that influence the levels of an individual’s self-efficacy. In regards to self-efficacy, students who are facing their final thesis or project often feel unsure of their capabilities. Participants of this research are active university students from cohort 2016 of X University, currently pursuing their final projects and are within the emerging adulthood age range (18-25). Data collection was done via questionnaire and yielded 180 participants. The distributed questionnaires included three adapted scales, which are : Peer Social Support Scale, Hardiness Scale and Self-Efficacy Scale. Linear regression was done twice to analyze the impacts of peer social support and hardiness on self-efficacy. The results showed significant impact R2 = 9,7% between social support and self-efficacy with a corellation level of p = 0,311. Hardiness gave significant impact towards self-efficacy R2 = 58,5% with corelation levels of p = 0,765. Results from this research showed that social support and hardiness gave significant impact towards the self-efficacy levels of university students undergoing their final project/thesis.
