Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) di mana penelitian ini bersumber dari kerisauan peneliti sebagai guru di kelas K2. Peneliti melihat perlu adanya kegiatan belajar yang lebih menyenangkan agar siswa dapat belajar dengan lebih antusias. Setelah melalui refleksi diri, peneliti mencari alternatif solusi yang dapat digunakan dari berbagai sumber, maka model pembelajaran Waldorf dianggap tepat untuk diterapkan. Penelitian yang dilakukan dalam tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran Waldorf dalam kurikulum pembelajaran PAUD dan mengetahui dampak dari penerapan aktivitas tersebut dalam perkembangan keterampilan sosial, kreativitas, dan kemampuan berbicara pada anak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan catatan lapangan. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari 3 siklus dan pada setiap siklus dilakukan pengumpulan data. Data diolah dan dianalisis secara kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Waldorf telah dilakukan sesuai dengan proses penerapan dan terjadi peningkatan keterampilan sosial, kreativitas, dan kemampuan berbicara pada siswa K2 XYZ Preschool Jakarta. / This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) where this research is derived from the concerns of researcher as a teacher in K2 class. Researcher sees the needs for more enjoyable learning activities, so students can learn more enthusiastically. After going through self-reflection, researcher looks for alternative solutions that can be used from various sources, as a result the Waldorf educational model is considered appropriate to be applied. The research that has been conducted in this thesis aims to develop the application of Waldorf educational model in the early childhood learning curriculum and to find out the impact of applying this activity in social skills, creativity, and speaking ability in young children. Data collection is done through observation and field notes. This activity is divided into 3 cycles and in each cycle data collection is conducted. Data is processed and analyzed qualitative descriptively. The results of this study indicate that Waldorf educational model has been done according to the application process and there has been an increase in social skills, creativity, and speaking ability of K2 students in XYZ Preschool Jakarta.
