As we know, we cannot escape from the land as one source of natural wealth that has a very close relationship with human survival. Humans in their daily life is always connected with the land. Between human and land is inseparable. In fulfilling the needs of their life such as a place to live, doing work, growing and developing to continue life. So, the land has a very important position in human life. In this thesis, the author wants to know the conformance status Suwug Indigenous Lands in Bali with the provisions of the Basic Agrarian Law and legal certainty customary land ownership in Suwug Bali village. The authors collect data used by the author of literature study which contains the primary legal materials such as the 1945 Constitution, Government Regulation, Regional Regulation, Bali Province Regulation, Ministerial Regulation and secondary law materials, tertiary legal material and not separated also from interviews by the author. The research conducted is descriptive by way of describing the symptoms in the community of a case studied, the approach is a qualitative approach which is the method of research that produces descriptive data. Therefore, the authors can draw the conclusion that the status of customary land Pakraman Suwug village in Bali can be distinguished into two kinds of customary land that is owned jointly by the villagers of the village of Pakraman Suwug and the land owned by individuals. So that land owned by individuals after the coming into effect of Law Number 5 of 1960 on Basic Regulation of Agrarian Principles is converted Article II Conversion Provisions into ownership and legal certainty of land ownership in the village of Pakraman Suwug Bali which already has a strong proof of ownership with evidence the new certificate reaches 60%.
