Abstract

Perubahan di dalam organisasi merupakan hal yang sangat dibutuhkan menginat situasi persaingan yang semakin dinamis, selera yang cepat berubah, kemajuan teknologi. Perubahan ini bersifat evolusioner maupun revolusioner. Penelitian ini tertarik untuk meneliti perubahan revolusioner di suatu organisasi khususnya di bidang pendidikan yaitu pada sistem perkuliahan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh employee engagement terhadap readiness for change pada dosen tetap di universitas X. Penelitian ini melibatkan 94 responden serta menggunakan alat ukur Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) untuk mengukur employee engagement dosen serta, alat ukur READ III untuk mengukung readiness for change pada dosen. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan employee engagement terhadap readiness for change pada dosen di universitas X sebesar 41.2 % (r2 = .412, F = 64.559, p< .5). Selain daripada itu, terdapat 58.8% faktor lain yang mempengaruhi readiness for change, seperti discrepancy, principal support, dan self-efficacy.
