Post Bomb Bali 1 caused Indonesia realized with the threat of terrorism . The threat of terrorism in Indonesia is often addressed to foreign and religion symbols. Since post Bomb Bali 1, Indonesia and Australia as the most aggrived parties of the terrorist threat, begin to actively participate in various cooperation to combat global terrorism. The cooperation between Indonesia and Australia produce a concrete result by establishing the School of Anti-Terrorism, that is located in Semarang, Indonesia. The school is well known as Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCELC). This school provides some educational programs for law enforcement to improve their investigative skills in conducting counter-terrorism actions. This thesis is made in order to learn more and about the security cooperation between Indonesia-Australia and its effect in establishing the JCLEC. The scope of this research is focused on security cooperation between Indonesia and Australia after the Bomb Bali 1 and its effect in establishing the School of Anti Terrorism. This research used qualitative method and also used in- depth interview and literature studies to collect the data. This research may provide comprehensively about the security cooperation between Indonesia-Australia which is focused after Bomb Bali 1. In addition, this reseach also discusses comprehensively about JCLEC as the School of Anti Terrorism.
