Copyright is one of the sections of Intellectual Property Rights which has a legal protection, which are included in the copyright are Works of art, science and literatura, especially in Works of Arts there are Works of music and song where it needs to has a legal protection. Many works of music and songs was created and wanted to be commercialized. The works must be a original Works and must has a characteristic of its creator. The works by the creator is published through the Recording Company as a Producer of the Phonogram. The works can be published in various media like a CD, VCD, DVD, Digital Music that we can download in our smartphone, Streaming Music and also the works can be published in public place and there is a clear legislation regarding royalty sharing mechanism. It is necessary to have one party collecting the royalties and then be distributed to a record company with clear division mechanisms according to law in Indonesia, so that all parties get their rights in accordance with their portion and get their rights fairly. With any collective management it can assist the process of collecting and sharing the royalties into one door and have legal protection in indonesia according to applicable law. Which in this study will be reviewd through Law Number 28 year concerning Copyright.
