Benteng Chinese Society in Tangerang who follow Confusious, cause in their law women has different position with man. Man‟s position usually higher than woman. Chinese Benteng Society still implement strong cultures and traditions, such as prayer that they called sembahyang (like Cheng Bing ceremony, Imlek, etc) and Chio Thau into their marrieage. The purpose of this research is to know more about kinship system and marriage system of Chinese Benteng Society in Tangerang. Then to know about inheritence system of Chinese Benteng Society based on the Civil Law in Indonesia. Methode that has used in this research is sociology or empirical which support by normative method.Research material has used primary data and secondary data. Then for data collection technique used interview ethnic and document study. Research approach has used the comparative approach and conceptual approach. Benteng Chinese Society in Tangerang use patrilineal system for kinship and marriage. Meanwhile for their inheritance, the distribution of bequest is no longer controlled by one of the parties, but is equally distributed equally between sons and daughters (1:1). Chinese Benteng Society no more use Chinese tradition. They follow the Civil Law‟s.
