Nowadays, the use of active portable speakers has become a common necessity in various events on every layers of society. But in most cases, especially in Indonesia, the technicians, amateurs, or even office boys are the ones who operate the speakers. Part of these individuals tends to do trial and error method when operating the speakers. They do that because of some reasons; such as getting confused because they have a little or no knowledge about audio scope, and from having a lack of motivation on reading the manual book of the product. This habit of not using the speaker the right way, makes the user not using the features of their product maximally, or can even leads to damaging of the product. Therefore, the designer designs an active portable speaker with userfriendly approach so that users from every class of society can do the operating processes easily. This product has a good visibility, in which the setting and the assignment of the control panels are simple, modest, and easy to understand, so that psychologically the users feel comfortable to operate the system. Moreover, this product is designed to increase user’s efficiency and productivity. The new control panel design making it easy for users on executing the speaker without having to be banded to the manual book.
