Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan antara regulasi emosi dengan dukungan sosial pada mahasiswa atlet. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 90 orang mahasiswa atlet Universitas Pelita Harapan yang memiliki rentang usia 18-25 tahun. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non-random sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada dua yaitu Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) untuk mengukur regulasi emosi, dan The Social Provion Scale (SPS) untuk mengukur dukungan sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan tujuan melihat ada tidaknya hubungan antar variabel. Hasil uji korelasi Spearman’s Rho menunjukkan hubungan yang tidak signifikan antara reappraisal dengan dukungan sosial (r =.111, p >.05), kemudian antara suppression dengan dukungan sosial (r =.002, p >.05). / This study aims to empirically examine the relationship between emotional regulation and social support in student athletes. The participants in this study amounted to 90 who were students of the Pelita Harapan University athletes and had an age range of 18-25 years. Sampling uses non-random sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. The instruments used in this study were two namely Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) to measure emotional regulation, and The Social Provion Scale (SPS) to measure social support. This study is a correlational study with the aim of seeing whether there are relationships between the variables. The Spearman Rho correlation test results showed insignificant results between reappraisal and social support (r = .111, p> .05), then between suppression and social support (r = .002, p> .05).
