Suatu ketika ia mengalami kecelakaan hebat yang melukai tangannya. Sejak saat itu hidupnya berubah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa pemkanaan male gender role pada karakter superhero Doctor Strange dalam film Doctor Strange. Hasil penelitian dengan analisa semiotika Metz berhasil membedah male gender role pada karakter superhero Doctor Strange dalam film Doctor Strange. Oleh karena itu pemaknaan male gender role pada karakter superhero Doctor Strange tampak dalam film Doctor Strange. The result done by Metz semiotic analysis has succeeded in dissecting the male gender role of the superhero character in the film Doctor Strange.
