Abstract
Keinginan untuk berkomunikasi disebabkan karena adanya ketertarikan dari individu-individu yang melakukan interaksi. Pola komunikasi yang baik menjadi faktor terciptanya hubungan yang baik. Atraksi interpersonal penting bagi kehidupan manusia guna mengembangkan diri menjadi makhluk sosial dan pribadi yang lengkap serta untuk menjamin kelangsungan hidupnya. Monokuro mengutamakan performa barista yang maksimal dalam melayani konsumen. Hal ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kenyamanan kepada konsumen ketika barista melakukan pelayanan dan berinteraksi. Atraksi interpersonal yang dilakukan oleh barista menjadi bagian penting untuk barista melakukan tindakan dalam melayani konsumen. oleh karena itu, peneliti memilih meneliti atraksi interpersonal barista Monokuro melalui tindakan dalam melayani konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi sebagai sumber data primer. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa barista Monokuro melalukan atraksi interpersonal dalam melayani konsumen. Atraksi interpersonal ini yang membuat barista dan konsumen dapat menjalin hubungan interpersonal. Barista Monokuro menyatakan bahwa komunikasi dengan konsumen menjadi faktor pendukung bagi mereka dalam melayani konsumen dan dapat membuat konsumen merasa nyaman ketika berkunjung ke Monokuro. / Wanting to communicate is caused by interest from the individuals who do the interaction. A good communication pattern is a factor to reach a good relationship. Interpersonal attraction is important to the human lives to grow themselves as social beings and a whole individual as well as to ensure their survival. Monokuro puts their priority in their barista's maximum performance to care for their customers. This is to give the customers a comfortable feeling while the baristas are giving service and interact. Interpersonal attraction done by baristas play an important role in order to give service to the customers. Thus, researcher choose to research on Monokuro barista's interpersonal attraction through their actions in giving service to the customers. This research is using qualitative descriptive with case study research method. Data is gathered by interviews, observation and documentation as the primary data source. Results from this research shows that Monokuro's barista does interpersonal attraction in giving service to customers. This interpersonal attraction allows the baristas and customers to have interpersonal relationship. Monokuro's barista states that communication with their customers' can be a supporting factor to give service to their customers as well as giving customers a comfortable ambiance while dining at Monokuro.
