Abstract
Lemo Hotel adalah salah satu usaha di bidang jasa perhotelan. Produk dari jasa ini berupa paket-paket untuk tamu yang akan mengadakan kegiatan tertentu di hotel, seperti rapat, acara sosial, acara pribadi seperti ulang tahun, ataupun pernikahan. Namun sekmen utama dari produk ini adalah paket pernikahannya. Pemagang melaksanakan magang di Lemo Hotel selama empat bulan dan ditempatkan di divisi sales and marketing. Lemo Hotel tidak memiliki departemen khusus public relations sehingga Pemagang ingin mengetahui bagaimana proses komunikasi internal yang dilakukan para karyawan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan wedding, dan bagaimana peran public relations dalam divisi sales and marketing. Dari hasil pengamatan Pemagang, pelaksanaan kegiatan wedding berjalan sangat baik. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan dengan partisipasi dengan berbagai pihak eksternal seperti vendor maupun internal hotel yaitu karyawan. Kegiatan tersebut mendapatkan respon yang baik dengan semakin bertambahnya jumlah klien yang akan melaksanakan kegiatan pernikahaannya di Lemo Hotel. Laporan ini menunjukkan bagaimana komunikasi internal dalam sebuah organisasi mampu memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap operasional perusahaan. / Lemo Hotel is one of the businesses in hospitality services. Products from this service are packages for guests who will hold certain activities at the hotel, such as meetings, social events, private events such as birthdays, or weddings. But the main segment of this product is the wedding package. The author conducted an internship at Lemo Hotel for four months and was placed in the sales and marketing division. Lemo Hotel does not have a special department of public relations so the author wants to know how the internal communication process is carried out by employees in carrying out wedding activities, and how the role of public relations in the sales and marketing division. From the author's observation, the conduct of wedding activities went very well. The activity was carried out with participation with various external parties such as vendors and internal hotels. The activity received a good response with the increasing number of clients who will carry out their wedding activities at Lemo Hotel. This report shows how internal communication within an organization is able to have a big influence on the company's operations.
