Abstract

Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan adalah program PBB di bawah UNDP yang memiliki 17 tujuan. Semua anggota PBB berpartisipasi pada tahun 2015 untuk mencapai SDG yang diperkirakan akan dicapai pada tahun 2030. SDG menggantikan program lama yang disebut MDG (Tujuan Pembangunan Milenium). Singapura sebagai anggota PBB juga berkontribusi untuk mencapai tujuan-tujuan ini. Pemerintah Singapura telah berusaha untuk mencapai tujuan dengan dukungan kontribusi nasional dan internasional. Penelitian ini menganalisis kemajuan Singapura saat ini dalam mencapai SDGs nomor 16 yang berfokus pada perdamaian, keadilan dan Lembaga yang kuat. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi bagaimana pemerintah Singapura telah mencapai hasil yang lebih baik dalam melakukan SDG nomor 16 dibandingkan dengan negara-negara tetangganya. Analisis ini didasarkan pada Perspektif Neoliberalisme dan menggunakan metode komparatif historis. Singapura memiliki sekitar 140 LSM dan LSM Internasional yang melayani di Singapura dan sekitar 48 IGO yang telah bekerja sama dengan pemerintah Singapura. LSM ini atau LSM Internasional dan IGO telah berkontribusi untuk membuat Singapura menjadi negara paling damai di Kawasan Asia Tenggara. / Sustainable Development Goals is a UN program under UNDP that have 17 goals. All member of UN participated in 2015 to achieve SDGs that are estimated to be accomplished in 2030. SDGs replace the old program called MDG (Millennium Development Goals). Singapore as a member of UN also contribute to accomplish these goals. The Government of Singapore has attempted to accomplish the goals with the support of national and international contribution. This research analyses the Singapore’s current progress in achieving SDGs number 16 which focuses on Peace, Justice and Strong Institution. This research also identifies how Singapore government has achieved a better result in performing SDG number 16 compare to its neighbor countries. The analysis is based on Neoliberalism Perspective and use a historical comparative method. Singapore has around 140 NGO and INGO that serve in Singapore and around 48 IGO that has cooperated with Singapore government. These NGO/INGO and IGO has contribute to makes Singapore become a the most peaceful countries in the Southeast Asia Region.
