Abstract

PT Matahari Department Store, Tbk (MDS) merupakan perusahaan retail yang berkembang di Indonesia. Sampai saat ini mengoperasikan 159 gerai yang tersebar di 75 kota di seluruh Indonesia, dengan total luas ruang toko hampir satu juta meter persegi. Setiap toko memiliki lantai, area dan brand yang beragam, sehingga diperlukan manajemen ruang toko yang baik untuk mengelolanya. Manajemen ruang toko merupakan cara memanfaatkan luas toko yang terbatas secara optimal. Salah satu manfaat dari manajemen ruang toko yang baik adalah untuk meningkatkan poroduktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi berbasis web yang dapat mengelola alokasi ruang toko di MDS. Sistem Informasi Manajemen Ruang Toko untuk Retail pada MDS ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem, Prototyping. Standardisasi pemodelan alur sistem yang digunakan adalah Unified Modeling Language (UML). Bahasa pemrograman sistem yang digunakan adalah PHP dan framework CodeIgniter. Dari penelitian ini dihasilkan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Ruang Toko berbasis web yang dapat memfasilitasi proses manajemen ruang toko pada MDS. Sistem informasi ini mencakup fitur untuk mengelola master data toko dan input besaran luas area (data store space) setiap bulan. Implementasi sistem ini menghasilkan visualisasi data yang mempermudah dan meningkatkan efisiensi waktu untuk analisis data store space dan laporan bulanan yang digunakan oleh divisi pengembangan bisnis untuk mengambil keputusan terkait manajemen ruang toko. Serta dapat mengirim data ke sistem saat ini yang ada di MDS sebagai salah satu cara untuk menghitung produktivitas. / PT Matahari Department Store, Tbk (MDS) is a retail company that is growing in Indonesia. It currently operates 159 stores in 75 cities across Indonesia, with a total store space close to one million square meters. Each store has a variety of floors, areas and brands, so the need of store space management to manage it is important. Store space management means to use a limited store space optimally. One of the benefits of store space management is to increase productivity. The aim of this research is to develop webbased information system that manage the allocation of store space on MDS. Store Space Management Information System for Retail on MDS was developed using a particular system development method, called Prototyping. The system was built using PHP programming language and CodeIgniter framework. Standardization of system flow modeling using Unified Modeling Language (UML). The result of this research is a webbased Store Space Management Information System that can facilitate the store space management process on MDS. This information system complements features to manage store space master data and input store space data every month. The implementation of this information system produce data visualization which simplifies and increase time efficiency users to analize store space data and monthly reports that used by business development division to make decision related to store space. This system is also able to send data to the current system at MDS to calculate productivity.
