Abstract
The tremendous effect on computer and software development has a great effect on image processing. The uses of image processing has been widely accepted to field of medical analysis and classification. Classification of ailment in medical is a very important thing to do because it can differentiated and understood so in the future can be easily recognized. For instance, the classification of bone fracture can help to recognize what type is the fracture and how can it be treated. In this paper, the classification only for Tibia Shaft fracture of human bone. Tibia fracture can be caused by many factor, for example: soccer, have a risk to injure a tibia, because tibia is exposed to withstand the force and energy of collision. Because of forces and energy can be different, the shape of tibia shaft fracture can be different. Tibia shaft fracture detection is critical due to help doctor to find a good treatment of different type fracture. The classification is using image processing with Hough Lines Transform and Connected Component, that way the degree of fracture and how many regions do the fracture have. In this final assignment, the using of image processing and hough lines transform specifically can help to detect type of tibia fracture, such as: transversal, oblique and segmental. In future, it is hope to develop application with more efficient and robust method for both mobiles and desktop
