Abstract
Indonesia merupakan negara ke empat terpadat di dunia dengan populasinya yang berjumlah 266.266.394 orang. Kepadatan populasi suatu negara mempengaruhi kebutuhan orang-orang yang tinggal di mana kompetisi akan kebutuhan sehari hari pun meningkat. Hal ini dapat menciptakan berbagai resiko yang dapat terjadi dan dengan begitu kebutuhan untuk memiliki asuransi juga meningkat. Allianz dikenal sebagai salah satu perusahaan asuransi terbesar di dunia, dengan PT. Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia sebagai perwakilan yang memberikan layanan asuransi jiwa kepada masyarakat Indonesia. PT. Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia membutuhkan proses sosialisasi yang efektif agar dapat menumbuhkan identitas dengan baik. Dengan proses sosialisasi yang efektif, PT. Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia kemudian akan mampu membentuk perilaku mereka yang bekerja di perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan metodologi. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan melalui proses wawancara mendalam dan partisipasi luas observasi, sedangkan data sekunder dikumpulkan melalui tinjauan pustaka. Informan yang dipilih termasuk PT. Eksekutif Pengembangan Agen Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia dan sejumlah agen asuransi yang diakui telah berhasil selama bertahun-tahun bekerja. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan informasi bahwa budaya organisasi yang dipegang kuat adalah dalam bentuk subkultur yang dibuat di PT. Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia sementara keberadaan budaya dominan agak diabaikan oleh para informan yang telah dipilih. / Indonesia is populated by 266.266.394 people, positioning Indonesia as the fourth most populated country in the world. The density of a country itself affects the needs of the people living in where the need of insurance increases as well. Allianz is known as one of the biggest insurance company in the world, with PT. Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia as a representative that provides life insurance service to Indonesian. PT. Asuransi Allianz Indonesia itself makes effort in creating a work environment and workforce with one identity and one organizational culture. This means that PT. Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia needs an effective socialization process in order to cultivate the identity well. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach and methodology. Primary data collection is done through a process of in-depth interview and extensive participation of observation, while the secondary data is collected through literature review. Informants selected includes PT. Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia’s Agency Development Executive and a number of insurance agents that are admitted as having succeeded over the years of experience working. The result of this research provides the information that the organizational culture that is held strongly is in the form of subculture created in PT. Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia while the presence of the dominant culture is somewhat ignored by the informants that have been selected.
