This main aim and objective of this thesis is to study the nature of international law and how it is integrated into the study case of justifying the Israel’s action in constructing a wall in the West Bank. The problem relies heavily on the pattern of legality and historical data on understanding the nature that presumes Israel’s actions and the international law that is not sufficient enough to justify the course of event that leads to the construction of the West Bank Wall. In order to comply with the objectives, the arguments were built on the strong case of historical data with its applicability to the international law leading to the current case study. The result of this thesis were translated into a pattern of comparison between old and new international law leading to the current event of the issue, resulting in a manner of justification upon the thesis objectives and aim. This thesis hence concluded that international law would be heavily not justifiable, as it was having little power whatsoever to solve the case of the construction of the West Bank Wall made by the state of Israel. However, last but not least, this thesis also resulted in the idea that with the nature of Israel’s diplomacy that is pro-West, it is believed that Israel’s action is seen justifiable and under international law all this long – especially seen through the eyes of the international community; the United Nations in particular. This thesis ergo is structured in to five main chapters: (I) Introduction, referring to the aim, scope and the historical background of the case study of the thesis; (II) Theories and concepts, addressing the International Relations theories and concept to frame the issue in hand; (III) Research Methodology, presenting the method of study in this thesis; (IV) Analysis, including the case study, the debate and arguments upon the case study and the application of the method and theories applied; (V) Conclusions, discussing the relevancy of the case study and the international relations paradigm of international law and further recommendations of the case in hand.
