Abstract

Keterbatasan di lingkungan kerja menyebabkan masalah kesehatan serta menghambat efektivitas dan produktivitas karyawan yang bekerja di kantor konvensional. Meningkatnya kesadaran bahwa tata letak ruang kantor sering memiliki efek yang kurang baik pada kinerja karyawan memperkenalkan tipe perencanaan kantor baru yang disebut dengan Bürolandschaft atau ‘landskap kantor’. Kemajuan zaman memperkenalkan istilah co-working space sebagai pilihan untuk bekerja diantara tempat kerja konvensional. Meskipun rencana tata ruang terbuka diharapkan memiliki manfaat untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi dan kesadaran sekitar, lingkungan kerja terbuka sebaliknya menjadikan lingkungan tempat kerja menjadi bising dan mengurangi privasi, menciptakan paradoks akan tujuan berkolaborasi. Maka dari itu, muncul pertanyaan seperti apa saja kriteria dari tempat kerja yang fleksibel dan bagaimana merancang tempat kerja yang fleksibel terkait privasi dan kolaborasi? Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode studi literatur dan observasi. Studi literatur dilakukan untuk menentukan strategi mencapai fleksibilitas terkait privasi dan kolaborasi di tempat kerja. Observasi dilakukan terhadap Co-Hive Green Office Park 9 sebagai salah satu co-working space terbesar di Indonesia yang menawarkan konsep ‘fleksibilitas’ dalam bekerja. Hasil observasi digunakan sebagai pelengkap indikator perancangan dan pembentuk daftar program ruang beserta katalog strategi desain. Katalog desain akan menjadi acuan perancangan fleksibilitas di tempat kerja. Proses perancangan dimulai dengan analisis tapak yang akan menghasilkan konsep tapak, deskripsi program ruang dan penjabaran konsep perancangan dengan skala terhadap tapak dan konteks, bangunan, ruang dan manusia. Konsep perancangan mempengaruhi kebutuhan akan privasi dan kolaborasi yang dapat digabungkan atau dipecah sesuai kebutuhannya. Faktor terkait fleksibilitas yang dibahas adalah dari skala makro hingga skala mikro. Temuan dari penelitian dan perancangan adalah penerapan konsep fleksibilitas terkait privasi dan kolaborasi melalui elemen pembentuk ruang yaitu lantai dinding dan plafon sehingga performa tempat kerja dapat menjadi 100% privasi dan 100% kolaborasi. / Limitations in the work environment cause health problems and hinder the effectiveness and productivity of employees working in conventional offices. Increased awareness that office space layout often has an adverse effect on employee performance introduce a new type of office planning called the Bürolandschaft or ‘office landscape’. Advances introduce the term co-working space as an option to work among conventional workplaces. Although an open spatial plan is expected to have benefits for increasing collaboration and awareness around, an open work environment instead is noisy and reduce privacy, creating a paradox for collaborative goals. Therefore, questions arise as to what are the criteria of a flexible workplace and how to design a flexible workplace related to privacy and collaboration? The study was conducted by literature study and observation methods. Literature studies are conducted to determine strategies for achieving flexibility regarding privacy and collaboration in the workplace. Observations were made at Co-Hive Green Office Park 9 as one of the largest co-working space in Indonesia that offers the concept of ‘flexibility’ at work. Observation results will be used as a complement to the design indicators and forming a list of space programs, along with a catalog of design strategies. The design catalog will be used as reference for designing flexibility in workplace. The design process begins with site analysis which will produce site concept, description of spatial program and description of design concept with scale towards site and context, building, space and people. The design concept influences the need for privacy and collaboration that can be combined or broken down according to the user’ needs. Factors related to flexibility that are being explained are from macro to micro scale. Research findings and design are the application of the concept of flexibility related to privacy and collaboration through space-forming elements known as wall, floor and ceiling so that workplace performance can be 100% privacy and 100% collaboration.
