Masjid sebagai tempat ibadah, memiliki pengalaman spasial yang khas. Akan tetapi, banyak masjid sekarang hanya memperhatikan fungsi daripada spiritual, sehingga tidak memberikan atmosfir yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan panca indra manusia ketika berada di dalam spasial masjid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perancangan spasial dengan tujuan menciptakan atmosfir sesuai dengan kapabilitas panca indra dalam mengalami spasial interior dan eksterior masjid. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan melakukan analisis studi preseden pada, Masjid Al-Irysad, dan Masjid Salman ITB. Dari analisis preseden yang ada, dalam menciptakan atmosfir pada spasial Masjid, rancangan spasial interior dan eksterior masjid harus ada keterkaitannya dengan panca indra. Dalam perancangannya terdapat kriteria yang harus dipenuhi, kriteria tersebut terdiri dari; Elemen Spasial Arsitektur Masjid, Kapabilitas Panca Indra, Archetype Element, dan continuous space. Dimana seluruh kriteria ini akan digunakan sebagai pedoman dalam merancang arsitektur Masjid Al-Muhajirin yang dapat memberikan pengalaman tertentu pada Jemaah melalui panca indra. / The mosque as a place of worship has a unique spatial experience. In the design, some criteria must be met. In the design some criteria must be met, these criteria consist of; Mosque Architecture Spatial Elements, Human Sense Capabilities, Archetype Element and continuous space. Where all these criteria will be used as a guide in designing the architecture of the Al-Muhajirin Mosque that can provide certain experiences to the Congregation through their human senses.
