Abstract

Motorcycle is one of common and favorite vehicle in Indonesia. Helmet is an important protective equipment when driving a motorcycle. With the increasing number of retro trend enthusiasts in Indonesia, it creates growth in interest to retro styled motorcycle. A lot of retro-style helmets are not safe and do not pay attention to the safety aspects. The author sees an opportunity to give option to retro-style helmet that still pays attention to safety aspects, provide features and comfort for users to compile a product. With using carbon fiber materials that are known very strong and lightweight to provide high security and comfort. Handmade production techniques were chosen to open up opportunities for users to be able to make helmets more in line with specifications. / Motor merupakan kendaraan favorit di Indonesia, dan helm adalah alat pelindung paling penting ketika kita mengendarai sebuah motor. Dengan semakin banyaknya peminat tren retro yang ada di Indonesia, membuat motor bergaya retro semakin banyak. Helm bergaya retro yang aman dan yang memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna di Indonesia tidak banyak, kebanyakan tidak memperhatikan aspek keamanan tersebut. Penulis melihat adanya peluang untuk memberikan opsi kepada orang Indonesia sebuah helm bergaya retro yang tetap memperhatikan aspek keamanan dan memberikan fitur-fitur untuk memberikan kenyamanan bagi pengguna ketika memakai produk.
