Film merupakan bentuk karya seni untuk menyampaikan suatu cerita dengan gambar yang bergerak. Tugas akhir ini berisikan tentang laporan dan uraian teori serta proses pembuatan film pendek “Passampo Siri” dari sudut pandang penulis yang berperan sebagai production designer. Film Passampo Siri adalah film pendek fiksi berlatar tahun 1990 yang secara implisit menceritakan tentang kepercayaan budaya lokal Bugis–Makassar yaitu Siri’ dalam permasalahan sehari- hari. Riset yang dilakukan untuk merancang film Passampo Siri dimulai dari wawancara, mengutip beberapa literatur hingga film sebagai data visual dan referensi. Isi dari laporan ini merangkai teori, rancangan, proses, dan hasil dari film Passampo Siri / Film is a form of art to tell a story with moving images. This thesis will include reports, theories and the process of the production of short film“Passampo Siri” from the perspective of the writer as an art director. “Passampo Siri” is a fictional short film which is set in 1990 that tells a story about a bugis-makassar local cultural belief on ‘Siri’ in daily difficulties The first thing to do to conduct research for “Passampo Siri” starts from the interview, citing some literature to the film as visual data and references. This thesis will summarize theories, process and also the outcome of the film.
