Abstract
In mobility, a blind community has level of risk in their safety. They may only know if there are any obstacles just by the physical interaction of the blind stick that they are worn. Therefore, this research will develop device in the indoor area by using an indoor positioning system technology. Making an indoor positioning system, it requires a floorplan with several iBeacon (Bluetooth modules) as the main input. iBeacon is a main device needed for the indoor positioning system to show the location points on the floorplan. As the output, zone feature is used to trigger the text-to-speech feature to give users a direction. The result found that the system's accuracy is 73.4% accurate and the deviation is 68.55%. It can be concluded that, this research has a good value on accuracy. However, there is a big weakness on quality of the system that can drop to 68.55%, if there are so many obstacles that blocked the iBeacon signal./ Dalam bermobilitas, komunitas tunanetra memiliki resiko yang tinggi pada keselamatannya. Mereka mengetahui adanya obyek hanya dengan sentuhan fisik dari tongkat buta yang dikenakan. Sehingga, penelitian ini akan mengembangkan alat bantu pada area indoor dengan menggunakan teknologi indoor positioning system. Dalam pembuatan sebuah indoor positioning system, diperlukan sebuah floorplan yang terhubung dengan beberapa iBeacon (modul bluetooth) sebagai input utamanya. iBeacon sendiri adalah alat utama yang diperlukan untuk indoor positioning system guna menunjukkan koordinat pada floorplan. Dan sebagai umpan balik, digunakan fitur zone untuk memicu fitur text-to-speech untuk menunjukkan arah kepada pengguna. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan 73,4% tingkat ketepatan sistem dalam menentukan koordinat dan 68,55% untuk tingkat kesalahannya. Oleh karena itu, sistem ini memiliki tingkat ketepatan yang cukup baik. Akan tetapi, sistem ini juga memiliki masalah besar pada kualitas sistem yang dapat menurun sebesar 68,55%, jika terdapat banyak halangan yang menghambat sinyal dari iBeacon.
