Agreement between airlines and passengers starts when passengers buy a ticket from one of the airlines, in this case Lion Air. In fact, one of the airlines' responsibility is to carry away goods/passengers in good condition. There are still some violations although the airlines are trying to fulfil the responsibilities. Such as the lost of passengers baggage caused by the negligence of airlines. The effect of the negligence, arising lawsuits in the law ruling No. 632/PK/Pdt/2014. Because of this issue, there is a research of normative law using laws and cases approach. This research use qualitative research method. The court ruling No. 632/PK/Pdt/2014 acknowleged that there was a mistake done by the airlines in fulfilling their responsibility of taking care of the passengers baggage. Beside that, it shows the regulation about compensation that should be given to the passenger haven't corresponding with the laws and regulations.
