Abstract

Kesehatan pekerja merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk dijaga bagi perusahaan dan pekerja tersebut, karena dengan kondisi yang sehat, pekerja dapat bekerja dengan lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, lingkungan dan area kerja harus dirancang sesuai prinsip ergonomi sehingga pekerja dapat bekerja dengan aman dan nyaman. Di usaha kecil cemilan keripik desa Kranggan milik Ibu Supiyah, pekerja stasiun penggorengan harus bekerja dengan postur yang kurang baik. Pekerja menggunakan kotak kayu untuk alas duduk dan bekerja dalam waktu yang lama. Karena stasiun kerja yang kurang baik tersebut, pekerja mengalami sakit punggung dan pinggang. Hasil analisis menggunakan Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) untuk postur kerja awal, diketahui memiliki skor akhir sebesar 5-7. Hal ini berarti postur kerja tersebut membahayakan pekerja. Oleh karena itu, dibuat stasiun kerja berupa meja penggorengan dan kursi yang ergonomis agar pekerja dapat bekerja dengan lebih aman dan nyaman. Dengan adanya stasiun kerja tersebut, pekerja tidak lagi mengalami rasa sakit dan skor RULA akhir turun menjadi 3./Workers health is an important thing for company and the workers themselves, because with a healthy condition, workers can do better at their job. Therefore, workplace area should be designed with ergonomic principle so the workers could work safely and comfortable. At small business chips-snacks in Kranggan which Mrs. Supiyah own, workers on frying station must work with a bad posture. The workers use a wooden box as chair and work for a long hour. Because of the working station, the workers suffer from back pain and waist pain. Analysis result using Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) for initial working posture, shown a final score of 5-7. This means the working posture is dangerous for the workers. Because of that, a workstation in the form of table for frying and an ergonomic chair was built so that the workers can work safely and comfortable. With the workstation, workers don’t feel pain anymore and the RULA final score go down to 3.
