Abstract
Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) is a right that contained in a products or creations that need to be protected by law. Copyright as a part of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) is a very personal or exclusive rights for the creators or holders of Copyright to publish or reproduce their creations. Music or song are two of the most important creations that need to be copyrighted in Indonesia. Because there are many case that the music or song commercially user not willing to pay their royalty to the creators. All of the creators are not possible to collect their royalty on their own, that is why some collecting society in Indonesia was born. To ease all of the users that willing to pay their royalty to only one institution, government establish a institution that in charge of all collecting society in Indonesia, and that institution called National Collecting Society.
