Abstract

An effective employee training towards new and old employees is essential in an organization. Training design and method for each different employee can increase the needed professional skill for the right employee to maintain and develop the quality of work. Some unsatisfied customers about the service and interaction are witnessed by researcher when did observation on employee, training location issue and some complaint is written on the online review. The research about “The Effect of Training on Employee Performance at The Hill Hotel & Resort” has aimed to increase the quality of work, skills and knowledge of each employee. Another objective of the research is to assess, determine and discover the effect of training on employee performance. The research is descriptive, measurable and using questionnaire regarding training that will be given to employees in obtaining the data which is categorized as quantitative research. From the analysis data result, it is concluded that all of the data is valid and reliable, passed the normality, heteroscedasticity and linear test which all sig. value is greater than 0.05, training variable has an effect on employee performance as much as 39.4% with positive relationship and high correlation. There are both implications that researcher expected to be useful, both in the theoretically and practically benefit. For the recommendation, it is concluded based from the conclusion which is mainly for the research of object itself and for future researcher. / Pelatihan karyawan yang efektif untuk karyawan baru dan lama sangatlah penting dalam suatu organisasi. Desain dan metode pelatihan untuk setiap karyawan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan profesional yang dibutuhkan pada karyawan yang tepat untuk mempertahankan dan mengembangkan kualitas kerja. Beberapa pelanggan yang tidak puas terhadap layanan dan interaksi dari karyawan diamati oleh peneliti ketika melakukan pengamatan pada karyawan, masalah lokasi pelatihan dan beberapa keluhan tertulis pada ulasan online. Penelitian tentang “Pengaruh Pelatihan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di The Hill Hotel & Resort” bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas kerja, keterampilan, dan pengetahuan setiap karyawan. Tujuan lain dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai, menentukan, dan menemukan pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, terukur dan menggunakan kuesioner berisi mengenai pelatihan yang akan diberikan kepada karyawan untuk memperoleh data dimana dikategorikan sebagai penelitian kuantitatif. Dari hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa semua data valid dan reliabel, lolos uji normalitas, heteroskedastisitas, dan linier yang semuanya nilai sig. lebih besar dari 0,05, variabel pelatihan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan sebanyak 39,4% dengan hubungan positif dan korelasi tinggi. Ada dua implikasi yang diharapkan peneliti berguna, baik dalam manfaat teoretis maupun praktis. Rekomendasi disimpulkan berdasarkan kesimpulan terutama untuk penelitian objek itu sendiri dan untuk peneliti masa depan.
