Abstract

From the initial observation in Junction Cafe the researcher found that the problem in training was that the objectives of the training were not in accordance with the existing problems, often the trainer who provided training did not fully understand the existing problems, only the general problems that he knew, the training materials were often not in accordance with the problem situation. Training is a learning course that contains the acquisition of skills, concepts, regulations or attitudes to reform employee performance. Performance means the work of an employee, a management process, where the results of the work must be demonstrated concretely and measurable. The method used by the writer in this research is descriptive method and correlational method. The type of research used is quantitative research. Data analysis method used in the research are descriptive statistic, coefficient of correlation, heteroscedasticity test, linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing using Z test. The result of coefficient of determination (R2) is 0,936. It means that the 93,6% of employees’ performance is influenced by training and the remaining 6,4% is influenced by other variables outside this research. The result of hypothesis z-test indicate that Zcount value obtained is 6.414that will be compared with Ztable in amount og 1.96. Zcount (6.414) is higher than the value of Ztable (1.96). In thisresearch, alternativehypothesisisaccepted. Junction Cafe Medan should pay attention towards the influence of training.In addition to routine training for employees, training frequency should be increased and pay attention to instructors provided to be competent. / Dari pengamatan awal di Junction Cafe, peneliti menemukan bahwa masalah dalam pelatihan adalah bahwa tujuan pelatihan tidak sesuai dengan masalah yang ada, sering kali pelatih yang memberikan pelatihan tidak sepenuhnya memahami masalah yang ada, hanya masalah umum yang dia tahu, materi pelatihan sering kali tidak sesuai dengan situasi masalah. Pelatihan adalah proses pembelajaran yang melibatkan perolehan keterampilan, konsep, peraturan atau sikap untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Kinerja berarti pekerjaan seorang karyawan, proses manajemen, di mana hasil pekerjaan harus ditunjukkan secara konkrit dan terukur. Metode yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan metode korelasional. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistic deskriptif, heteroskedastisitas, koefisien determinasi, analisis regresi linier dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Z. Hasil koefisien determinasi (R2) adalah 0,936. Ini berarti bahwa 93,6% kinerja karyawan dipengaruhi oleh pelatihan dan sisanya 6,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. Hasil hipotesis uji-z menunjukkan bahwa nilai Zcount yang diperoleh adalah 6,414 yang akan dibandingkan dengan Ztable dalam jumlah og 1,96. Zcount (6,414) lebih tinggi dari nilai Ztable (1,96). Dalam penelitian ini, hipotesis alternatif diterima. Junction Cafe Medan harus memperhatikan pengaruh pelatihan. Selain pelatihan rutin untuk karyawan, frekuensi pelatihan harus ditingkatkan dan memperhatikan instruktur yang disediakan untuk menjadi kompeten. juga mengevaluasi hasil pelatihan yang diberikan kepada karyawan.
