Abstract

One of the most important resources in an organization is the people in it. Because with quality human resources will indirectly have an effect on the success of the organization. Within educational institutions, employees are an important resource for schools. In achieving its goals, schools require not only qualified employees but also employees who are committed to the organization. With the organizational commitment of employees in the school, it is expected to increase school productivity. Organizational commitment is of course related to many factors. This study aims to determine the effect of empowering leadership, job crafting, and work engagement on employee organizational commitment. The research subjects consisted of 54 employees working in a XYZ Private School in Jakarta, where organizational commitment was identified. The research method used is PLS-SEM. The results of this study indicate that empowering leadership, job crafting and work engagement have a positive effect on organizational commitment. / Salah satu sumber daya yang terpenting dalam sebuah organisasi adalah manusia di dalamnya. Karena dengan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas secara tidak langsung akan berefek pada kesuksesan organisasi tersebut. Di dalam lembaga pendidikan, karyawan merupakan sumber daya yang penting bagi sekolah. Dalam pencapaian tujuannya, sekolah memerlukan bukan hanya karyawan yang berkualitas secara keterampilan namun juga diperlukan karyawan yang memiliki komitmen terhadap organisasi. Dengan adanya komitmen organisasi dalam karyawan di sekolah, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas sekolah. Komitmen organisasi tentu saja berkaitan dengan banyak faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh empowering leadership, job crafting, dan work engagement terhadap komitmen organisasi karyawan. Adapun subjek penelitian terdiri dari 54 karyawan yang bekerja di sebuah Sekolah Swasta XYZ di Jakarta, dimana teridentifikasi komitmen organisasi di dalamnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa empowering leadership, job crafting dan work engagement berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasi.
