Abstract

Media pembelajaran mempunyai peranan penting dan memiliki tujuan agar proses kegiatan belajar mengajar lebih efektif dan mudah diterapkan. Salah satu media yang dapat digunakan adalah sosiodrama. Sosiodrama adalah pembelajaran bermain peran untuk memecahkan masalah-masalah berkaitan dengan fenomena sosial meyangkut hubungan antar manusia yang dipilih oleh peneliti berdasarkan kegelisahan peneliti dalam melihat situasi siswa didik di kelas yang kurang dalam keterampilan sosial emosional, bahasa, dan pemecahan masalah. Sosiodrama sangat tepat dalam mengatasi masalah ini karena siswa belajar untuk mengungkapkan ide/gagasan, mengekspresikan perasaan, dan membangun hubungan dengan teman sebaya. Selain itu, sosiodrama juga dapat membangun literasi dan mengajarkan resolusi konflik Tujuan penelitian ini menerapkan sosiodrama untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial emosional, bahasa, dan pemecahan masalah pada siswa EY 1 & 2. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas tiga siklus dengan subyek penelitian 14 siswa kelas EY 1 & 2 sekolah PAUD XYZ Jakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan telaah dokumen, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Nilai rata-rata indikator keterampilan sosial emosional, bahasa, dan pemecahan masalah siswa dari siklus pertama sampai siklus ketiga yaitu 90% untuk sosial emosional, 87% untuk bahasa, dan 83% untuk pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menerapkan sosiodrama dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial emosional, bahasa, dan pemecahan masalah secara signifikan. / Learning media have an important role and goal in process of teaching and learning activities to be more effective and easy to apply. One of the media that can be used is sociodrama. Sociodrama is a role playing learning to solve problems related to social phenomena and human relations chosen by researcher based on researcher’s anxiety in seeing the student situation in class who lack of social emotional, language, and problem solving skills. Sociodrama is very appropriate in overcoming this problem because students learn to express ideas, feelings, and build relationship with peers. In addition sociodrama can also build literacy and teach conflict resolution. The purpose of this study is to apply sociodrama to improve social emotional, language, and problem solving skills in EY 2 students. The study has been conducted with Classroom Action Research (CAR) in 3 cycles at level Early Years 2 XYZ Preschool in Jakarta. Data collection was done by reviewing documents, observations, interviews, and documentations. The average of value of indicators from the first to third cycle is 90% for social emotional, 87% for language, and 83% for problem solving. The results showed that applying sociodrama could significantly improve social emotional, language, and problem solving skills.
