Abstract

Teacher performance has a big role for quality of education. Teacher performance is related to many things including, the principal's leadership style, organizational climate and organizational communication. This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership style, organizational climate and organizational communication on teacher performance at SMP XYZ located in Bumi Serpong Damai. The data in this study were obtained from data from the distribution of questionnaires to 45 teachers in the school. Further research data were analyzed using SEM analysis technique Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on the results of the analysis in this study, it was found that transformational leadership style had a positive effect on teacher performance. The better the principal's transformational leadership style, the better the teacher's performance. Organizational communication has a positive effect on teacher performance. The better organizational communication, the better the teacher's performance. Organizational climate has a positive effect on teacher performance. The better the organizational climate, the better the teacher's performance. / Kinerja guru mempunyai peran yang cukup besar bagi pendidikan yang berkualitas. Kinerja guru berkaitan dengan banyak hal antara lain, gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, iklim organisasi dan komunikasi organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, iklim organisasi dan komunikasi organisasi terhadap kinerja guru di SMP XYZ yang berlokasi di Bumi Serpong Damai. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari data hasil penyebaran kuesioner terhadap 45 guru di sekolah tersebut. Data hasil penelitian selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis SEM Partial Least Square (PLS). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif kinerja guru. Semakin baik gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah maka semakin baik kinerja guru. Komunikasi organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru. Semakin baik komunikasi organisasi maka semakin baik kinerja guru. Iklim organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru. Semakin baik iklim organisasi maka semakin baik kinerja guru.
